I don't understand how this place is in business. I've ordered here 2 times in my life. Both times the one thing this place should do correctly (Pizza) was AWFUL. I don't understand how a pizza place makes bad pizza and this place did it twice. I used to work at the Beer store up the road and we frequently ordered food and this place we figured we would try. Terrible, both times. Pizza was extremely greasy one time and the other time the cheese wasn't cooked. The sauce is also not something edible. Of all the places to get food in the area...just move on and thank me later!

We order from here 1-2 times a week and the food comes quick and is very good. Love the waffle fries and their thin crust pizza.

I had heard good things about this place so decided to order some food this past weekend. They have a huge menu and is definitely on the inexpensive side for the amount and quality you get. I thought I would try out the online ordering and it was super easy and had many options to customize your order, extra cheese, substitutions etc. Also a huge surprise...for ordering online we got an extra 30% off our bill...how awesome is that? We had a chicken caesar salad wrap which came with french fries, a rustic chicken cheesesteak which is basically a cheesesteak on ciabatta bread with french fries and a buffalo chicken cheesesteak. All were really good. Would definitely recommend for some good takeout. When I went in to pick up the food, there were a few families in the dining room which was really nice and clean.Might have to try eating in next time.

I will never eat from here again. My mother-in-law picked up food that we ordered (3 items). She returned, but only to have 2. Yet, they charged us for all 3. When I called to find out what happened, they admitted to forgetting it, and that we could come pick it up. Oh really? No thanks. I requested a refund for my mother-in-law's credit card, and they said they'd take care of it. One month later, when her statement came, they had kept the charge. I called to ask them what happened. The owner got real snippy with me and suggested that they did refund us the money and insinuated I was playing some game with him. It just so happens, my mother-in-law kept her receipt, so we called back with the receipt #, the cashier name, and the date. He was able to look into the records, and determine that it was in fact (surprise surprise) cashier error! Not that he was apologetic or sympathetic of the time wasted. Yeah buddy, I'm going from restaurant to restaurant scamming them out of $9. Give me a break. Will never eat here again, it is now on the BANNED list at my house. And for good reason. Customer service is very important.

Visited: Thursday - February 12, 2015 - 11:00 AM I just filled my gas tank with a 50 cent discount from The Giant gas pump and decided that my tummy needed filling. ( I paid $1.82 a gallon - nice ) I vaguely remembered visiting Pat's approximately 8 years ago. The front door remained hard to open due to what is best described as a sucking action. The room was immaculate with oversized windows that allowed the natural lighting to illuminate the dining area. The menu posted overhead offered salads, burgers, wraps, and full dinners. I ordered a large turkey salad with a side of creamy Italian dressing ($8.99). I paid and sat at an unoccupied table. The order arrived within five minutes and was bursting with romaine salad, green peppers, red onions, shredded cheese, and sliced delicatessen turkey. Two packages of commercially prepared dressing accompanied the salad. An employee (owner?) provided a take-home container without my asking. I finished about half of the salad and placed the remainder in the container to take home. If "real" turkey breast was served, I would have awarded 5 stars.

I keep giving them chances and they constantly disappoint. Latest disappointment was ordering a southwest chicken salad. Here I am thinking I will get the salad described, lettuce, onion, tomato, corn, black beans, bbq sauce and chicken. What I get is lettuce, shredded carrot and some chicken. They offered to send another salad but no thank you. Done.

Bring your wallet, it's expensive and while the pizza is good the cheesesteaks are chincy and just ok.

Whenever I visit family in Drexel Hill, I could eat at Pat's for every meal. Love the cheesesteaks and chef salad. Fries are great. I was never a fan of their pizza, but to me, that's not the point.

Great turkey club. Great pasta and meatballs. A good place in the neighborhood. A little pricy though sometimes depending on what you get.

Good old Pat's. I used to go here all the time when I lived in Drexel Hill. Obviously if you are familiar with delaware county you know that we have more pizza shops than the bank has fees. The way they all stay in business is that each one does something particularly good. In opinion what makes Pat's stand out is their non-pizza related food. Burgers, cheesesteaks, fries, the buffalo chicken rustic was a personal favorite of mine. In fact I'd spend a saturday when my family was away with a bunch of movies, some buffalo wings, a buffalo chicken rustic and an order of mega fries. I'd then spend sunday in a puddle of self loathing but it's not worth fighting life's ups and downs. At any rate Pat's Pizza is great but not for pizza. Love their fried deliciousness today, hate yourself tomorrow!

Flawless. large square pie is great. red and white. cheese-steak was excellent. fresh ingredience. HAPPY STAFF. in a town of 100 pizza/steak/hoagie grill, PAT'S wins all catagories.

LOVE the on-line ordering. Most pizza places you spend a lot of time on hold or repeating your order. On-line gets it right the first time and your order is ready when you request it. Yesterday we were sitting in an airport in South Carolina deciding what to do for dinner. Out flight was scheduled to arrive in PHL around 4 pm. I picked up my phone, went to Pat's mobile site and ordered dinner to be ready for us a 4:45. Even on their mobile site it is super easy to customize your order. Easy in and out from the parking lot too.

I'll be honest, I think the quality of this place was much better back when they were in the shopping center across from St. Dot's. Their new location is small, on Township Line (IE very busy), and the parking lot is the back is small and hard to navigate. I've only eaten here once since they moved, and I shouldn't have bothered. The food is pretty average, and everything always sounds better than it actually tastes. In a word: meh. There's definitely better places in the area.

My wife and I were back in Drexel Hill cleaning out our old apartment, and we decided to get delivery from Pat's as our last meal there. 'nough said? Pat's has excellent food (try the buffalo chicken cheese steak) and prompt delivery. At the restaurant the staff was friendly and courteous, even when we had a screaming baby. Great food and great experience.

Good for a quick dinner. Pizza is pretty decent, the chicken fingers & fries are good. Online ordering is super easy and it's very easy to customize things and add/remove items. I ordered the Italian Sausage sandwich and it was delicious!

We ordered two Sicilian pizzas and they were quite good considering that Philly doesn't seem to produce good pizzas as a whole. I would go back.

Me and my coworkers used to always order from Pats. Lately unfortunately we do not. We have had instances where our delivery didn't get to our store until and hour and half later and this was on a regular Wednesday. Or when someones meal didn't come or wasn't cooked to the persons liking. Seems to me the service is great in house but no for delivery. More consistency please!

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
